Global markets remain negative
Global markets are following a negative course amid growing expectations that the U.S. Federal Reserve could raise interest rates once more by the end of the year and rising tensions in the Middle East.

Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East continue to weigh on asset prices. Reports of a White House request for the Pentagon to develop options for possible attacks on Iranian targets before the Nov. 3 midterm elections have increased concerns about new attacks in the region.
Data to watch on the agenda
In Türkiye, the Istanbul Economic Forum and weekly monetary and banking statistics will be monitored. Abroad, weekly jobless claims and wholesale inventories data due in the United States will be watched.
Technically, 12,300 and 12,400 points stand out as resistance levels for the BIST 100 index, while 12,000 and 11,900 points are seen as support levels.
