Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran announced that Media and Information Literacy Clubs will be established in primary, middle and high schools.
Duran said the Presidency's Directorate of Communications had launched a new initiative to raise children's awareness of digital threats and information pollution. He stated that the clubs would be established as part of the Center for Combating Disinformation's public awareness initiatives, with the support and cooperation of the Ministry of National Education.
Duran said the initiative aims to help children grow into individuals who can assess manipulation and provocations in the digital world, access accurate information and defend the truth. He invited teachers, parents and students to take an active role in the clubs.
