The Trade Ministry is launching a new appointment system in September for commission evaluations regarding the import of specially equipped vehicles by disabled citizens with customs duty exemption.
According to the Ministry's statement, the appointment application to be offered via e-Devlet under the Disabled Vehicle Import System (EAİS) aims to make application processes more planned, regularize commission work, and reduce citizens' waiting times.
With the new system, a 10-minute evaluation period will be allocated for each application. Disabled citizen applicants will be able to participate in the commission process by selecting a suitable date and time slot.
The Trade Ministry's statement included the following: "With the new application, commission evaluations will be carried out based on appointments made via e-Devlet. A 10-minute evaluation period has been planned for each application, and our disabled citizen applicants will be able to participate in the commission process by selecting a suitable date and time slot. The appointment system aims to ensure that commission work is conducted more orderly, application processes become more efficient, and our citizens' waiting times are reduced. As the Ministry, we will continue to resolutely implement digital applications that enable our disabled citizens to access public services more quickly, easily, and accessibly, and to improve service quality."
The Ministry emphasized that it will continue to facilitate disabled citizens' access to public services through digitalization-focused applications.
