The General Directorate of Foundations is sending 30,000 food parcels in 30 trucks to families living in scattered and organized camps in the Euphrates Shield Operation zone in Syria. As part of the shipment program carried out in cooperation with AFAD, 2,000 food parcels have set off to be delivered to the warehouses of the Hatay Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate.
By the end of July, it is planned that 10,000 food parcels will be delivered to the AFAD warehouses in Kilis Çobanbey, and 18,000 parcels to the warehouses of the Hatay Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate. The food parcel shipments, consisting of long-lasting basic food items such as flour, tomato paste, sunflower oil, dried beans, pasta, red lentils, orzo, rice, tahini halva, and raisins, are expected to be completed by the end of the month.
The food parcels also include an Arabic letter penned by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, containing messages of solidarity and support. Here are excerpts from that letter: 'My dear Syrian brothers, Turkey and the Turkish nation are with you today, as they were yesterday, and will be tomorrow. Despite all impossibilities, you fought with your blood, your lives, tooth and nail, and made a new beginning in Syria.'
After the revolution, you have made significant progress in a short time towards the recovery of your country, standing up again in unity and solidarity, and integrating with the world. As Turkey, we have always supported this beautiful progress. As we have always stated, we have been here for a thousand years, together, as neighbors. God willing, we will be here until doomsday, and we will live together.

It is only possible for all segments of Syrian society to look to their future with confidence through a shared history and a shared vision of the future. As your neighbor and brother, just as we did not leave you alone in your struggle for freedom and justice, we will support you with all our means in your development struggle. We will join hearts, and with God's help, we will overcome difficulties, troubles, and obstacles together.
We will build the happy, prosperous, and peaceful Syria of the future together again.
