Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that two Turkish citizens had been detained in Germany in connection with a fire at a Starlink ground station in Wola Krobowska, south of Warsaw. Tusk said German police acted at the request of Polish authorities and described the incident as part of “hybrid warfare.”
The suspects are expected to be transferred to Poland under a European Arrest Warrant.
Fire broke out in late September

The fire at the station, operated by Polish state telecoms company Exatel, damaged a power unit and a generator in late September.
Poland’s minister in charge of special services, Tomasz Siemoniak, said Warsaw had “absolutely no doubt” that Russian services were behind the attack. Moscow has denied the allegations. Poland has linked numerous sabotage attempts on its territory to Russia since the start of the war in Ukraine.
