Twenty nightclubs in the Ulus district of Türkiye’s capital, Ankara, have been sealed indefinitely as part of the “Ailem Güvende” (My Family Is Safe) operation, which is being coordinated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The investigation reportedly covers allegations of prostitution, obscenity, drug offenses and child abuse. The case file is said to include findings that some venues paved the way for exploitation and illegal activities under the guise of “paid social companionship services.”
Only 20 venues in Ulus affected

The sealing order does not cover all entertainment venues in Ankara, but only the 20 businesses in Ulus targeted in the operation. Judicial and administrative proceedings concerning the sealed venues are continuing.
“Ailem Güvende” operations, aimed at protecting families and children, have recently been carried out in other provinces as well.
