The Istanbul 11th High Criminal Court has decided to issue a red notice for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Sumud Fleet case.

A public lawsuit was filed against Netanyahu and other defendants for crimes including "crimes against humanity", "genocide", "damage to property", "aggravated looting", "intentional injury", "torture", "obstruction of the movement of transport vehicles", "abduction or detention", and "deprivation of liberty".
The red notice decision will be conveyed to the Interpol General Secretariat through the Ministry of Justice and the Interpol-Europol Department. If the decision is approved by Interpol, Netanyahu will face the risk of arrest and extradition to Turkey if he travels to a country that is part of the red notice system or has an extradition treaty with Turkey.
