Japanese citizen Yuka Yamasita converts to Islam in Mardin, ties the knot
Japanese citizen Yuka Yamasita applied to the Nusaybin District Mufti's Office and converted to Islam in a conversion ceremony, taking the name 'Rana'. Afterwards, she had a civil marriage with Mehmet Selçuk Türkoğlu.
A conversion ceremony was held for Yuka Yamasita, who applied to the Nusaybin District Mufti's Office and stated her desire to embrace Islam. During the ceremony presided over by Nusaybin District Mufti Hasan Yeşildal, Yamasita recited the Shahada in front of witnesses, became a Muslim and took the name 'Rana'.

Stating that Islam is a religion of peace, compassion and brotherhood, Yeşildal wished her health, peace and happiness in her new life. VARIOUS BOOKS PRESENTED After the ceremony, Rana was presented with a conversion certificate, the Holy Quran and various books from the publications of the Presidency of Religious Affairs. Following the conversion ceremony, the civil marriage of Rana and Mehmet Selçuk Türkoğlu was officiated.
