Meta Launches Paid Subscription System for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp
Meta has launched a paid subscription system for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. Users will be able to purchase subscriptions with new advantages.
Meta has launched a paid subscription system on the Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp platforms. The fees are set at $3.99 for Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus, and $2.99 for WhatsApp Plus. WhatsApp Plus subscribers will have privileges such as pinning up to 20 chats, extra theme colors, different app icons, premium ringtone and notification sounds, and personalized ringtone settings. Instagram Plus subscribers will be able to preview stories without appearing in the viewers list, see how many times their own stories have been viewed, highlight stories, extend their duration up to 48 hours, and access some animated emojis. Facebook Plus subscribers will benefit from features like using different app icons, viewing stories anonymously, searching for people in the stories list, and special emojis.
