Trade Minister Ömer Bolat addressed party members at a meeting held at the AK Party district headquarters in Tavşanlı, Kütahya. Bolat said President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was a world leader and that Türkiye had become a global power.
Bolat said President Erdoğan had been working for the country and its people for 24 years in line with the goals of the Century of Türkiye. He argued that Türkiye had become a respected country whose voice was heard worldwide.
Exports and employment figures
Bolat said exports had been increased to $400 billion. He said 11.5 million new people had been added to the workforce, bringing total employment to 32.7 million.
Bolat said these developments had not been achieved under easy conditions, recalling the coup attempts and efforts to overthrow the government in the 2000s, as well as the 2008–2009 global financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic and regional wars.
Arguing that Türkiye was at peace despite developments in its surrounding region, Bolat said work was being carried out in the fields of education, health, the environment, culture, sports, agriculture, industry and services. He said these achievements had been secured through strong leadership, hardworking teams and citizens’ support.
Badges presented to officials joining the AK Party
Bolat congratulated Tavşanlı Mayor Ali Kemal Derin and Domaniç Mayor Engin Uysal, who joined the AK Party. Badges were also presented to the deputy mayors and municipal council members who attended the event.
AK Party Kütahya deputies Mehmet Demir and İsmail Çağlar Bayırcı, AK Party Tavşanlı District Chairman Himmet Özer and numerous party members attended the event.
