President Erdoğan receives leaders of four major clubs at Dolmabahçe
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held separate meetings with officials from Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor at the Presidential complex in Dolmabahçe. Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak also attended the meetings, while Erdoğan expressed his hope that the Süper Lig would be played in an atmosphere of friendship, solidarity and fair play.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received the presidents and board members of Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor at the Presidential complex in Dolmabahçe.
Erdoğan met with the club delegations separately. The first meeting was held with Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı.
Erdoğan subsequently received Fenerbahçe Club President Aziz Yıldırım, Galatasaray Club President Dursun Özbek and Trabzonspor Club President Ertuğrul Doğan, together with their board members.
Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak also attended the meetings.
Erdoğan wishes sports clubs success
In a post on his NSosyal account, Erdoğan said they had met with the presidents and officials of the four clubs.
Erdoğan said the Süper Lig had started several weeks earlier and that he believed the league would be played in an atmosphere of friendship, solidarity and fair competition. He also said the success of Turkish clubs in Europe would be a source of pride and wished all sports clubs success.
