Associate Professor Abdulgani Bozkurt, a faculty member in the Department of International Relations at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University (RTEÜ), is teaching at Grand-Bassam University in Côte d’Ivoire through the Erasmus staff exchange program.
Bozkurt visited Türkiye’s Embassy in Abidjan and met with the ambassador to discuss the academic program. The embassy said the visit took place as part of academic cooperation between the two universities.

Erasmus expands to universities outside Europe
The international credit mobility component of the Erasmus+ program enables universities in Türkiye to conduct student and faculty exchanges with partner universities outside Europe.
Grand-Bassam is the former capital of Côte d’Ivoire and one of the country’s historic cities on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Relations between Türkiye and Côte d’Ivoire have developed in recent years in education, trade and transportation.
