Saudi Arabia’s Council of Ministers approved an agreement providing mutual visa exemptions for diplomatic and special passport holders traveling between Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.

The agreement between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia was signed in Ankara on May 6, 2026, following a meeting of the two countries’ Coordination Council. The President of Türkiye also signed the decree approving the document.

Under the agreement, diplomatic and special passport holders will be able to enter the other country without a visa, transit through it, depart from it and stay there temporarily. Visa-free stays may not exceed 90 days in any 180-day period.
