Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a phone call with US President Donald Trump. The call addressed the growing tensions in the region and the need to reduce escalation through dialogue.
According to the official Saudi news agency SPA, Bin Salman stressed during the call the need to prioritize dialogue to reduce tensions and ensure stability and security.
The phone call took place shortly after Trump announced the suspension of planned large-scale attacks on Iran.
The two leaders also discussed cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the US and prospects for further expanding this cooperation in various fields.
Meanwhile, Axios news portal had previously reported, citing anonymous sources, that the Saudi Crown Prince conveyed to Trump his concerns about new major attack plans on Iran and urged the White House leader to calm the situation by not carrying out these attacks.
