Seinfeld dances as Gaza protester is removed from Chicago show
Comedian Jerry Seinfeld danced on stage and sarcastically said “It’s a genocide, I’m into it” as a pro-Palestinian protester was escorted out of his Chicago show.
A Jerry Seinfeld show at the Chicago Theatre on Oct. 9 was interrupted by pro-Palestinian protesters. As one woman shouted that she had “had enough of genocide” and cited Palestinian deaths in Gaza, Seinfeld performed a brief dance while security escorted her out.
“I am a racist. It’s a genocide, I’m into it,” he said sarcastically. When a man later shouted that Palestine would be free, Seinfeld said he would send the price of his ticket to Israel, then added, “No, I won’t, I’m keeping it.” Seinfeld has repeatedly voiced support for Israel and visited the country in December 2023.
