A bill containing an amnesty arrangement for students whose university registration has been terminated and those who gained the right to enroll but did not enroll has been submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
According to the bill, students whose university registration was deleted starting from July 1, 2022, and those who gained the right to enroll but did not enroll will be able to benefit from the amnesty.
After the regulation becomes law and is published in the Official Gazette, those who apply within 4 months will be able to continue their education in the 2026-2027 academic year.
Those convicted of terrorism, murder, sexual offenses, and drug crimes, as well as those found to have used false documents, will be excluded from the scope of the amnesty.
