Suspect detained after razor attack on young girl in Mudanya, Bursa
A young girl was injured in the neck with a razor blade by G. on the rocks at Mudanya Paşa Beach.
The incident took place on the rocks at Paşa Beach in the Mudanya district of Bursa. Allegedly, a young girl named G. K. was sitting on the rocks when a woman named N. B. approached her, chatted for a while, then took a razor blade from her wallet and cut the girl's neck.
It was learned that G. K. sustained a wound 1-2 centimeters from her carotid artery. It is alleged that after the attack, N. B.'s male companion E. B. also punched the injured girl.
As the suspects fled the scene, nearby citizens reported the incident to the 112 Emergency Call Center, prompting health and police teams to be dispatched to the area. After initial treatment by paramedics, G. K. was taken to hospital by ambulance; it was stated that her condition was not life-threatening.
Following the incident, teams from the Mudanya District Police Department launched an investigation and quickly apprehended suspect N. B., taking her into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
