The FPV Drone Race, organized as part of the T3 FPV Academy project run by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), took place at Atatürk Airport Nation's Garden on July 18-19.
During the two-day event, young people, technology enthusiasts, and visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with FPV drone technologies through activities focused on education, experience, competition, and entertainment.
The event featured FPV drone simulation, drone experience, FPV drone soccer, test flights, demonstration flights, and NSosyal quiz competitions.
The race program took place on July 19. Instructors who successfully completed the T3 FPV Academy Train the Trainer Program participated in the race. Contestants demonstrated the drone assembly, speed, control, and piloting skills they acquired during the training process on the race track.
After the competitions, the 'Semruk' team finished first, while 'Alkar' came second, 'Dede Korkut' third, and 'Börü' fourth. The champion 'Semruk' team won a prize of 100,000 lira, and the second-place 'Alkar' team won 50,000 lira. Various awards and gifts were also presented to the other winning teams.

FPV pilot and instructor pool is being expanded
At the T3 FPV Academy, which aims to train qualified pilots and instructors in the field of FPV drone technologies, participants receive theoretical and practical training. The academy program covers topics such as drone systems and components, assembly and integration, flight simulation, physical flight, basic piloting, safe flight, and equipment use.
The project aims to provide young people interested in FPV technologies with a systematic and safe training process, and to create a qualified instructor pool that can take part in trainings to be organized across Turkey.
The T3 FPV Academy FPV Drone Race brought together participants with the opportunities offered by FPV technologies not only in racing but also in education, skill development, teamwork, and technology experience.
