Tanini Trio concert marks Republic’s 103rd anniversary in Ljubljana

The Embassy of Türkiye in Ljubljana celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the Republic with Turkish citizens, Slovenian friends and diplomatic representatives. Tanini Trio also performed a concert as part of the celebrations.

The Embassy of Türkiye in Ljubljana celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the Republic’s founding with a reception held in Slovenia’s capital. Turkish citizens living in Slovenia, Slovenian friends and members of the diplomatic corps attended the reception. The Embassy concluded its post with the words, "Long live the Republic!"

One of the most notable moments of the celebrations was Tanini Trio’s concert. The video shows the ensemble performing as part of the program organized by the Embassy. The Embassy said, "We experienced the enthusiasm of our Republic with Tanini Trio’s magnificent concert in Ljubljana, the capital of our strategic partner Slovenia."

Under the EU Communication Strategy

The concert was organized under the EU Communication Strategy implemented by the Directorate for EU Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The strategy aims to strengthen Türkiye’s ties with the public in EU member states through culture and the arts. Relations between Türkiye and Slovenia are conducted at the level of a strategic partnership.

In posts that also included footage from another part of the concert, the Embassy shared with its followers the excitement of celebrating the Republic’s 103rd anniversary with the Turkish community in Ljubljana and Slovenian guests.
