Türkiye's Ashgabat Embassy celebrates Republic Day with reception
At Türkiye's Ashgabat Embassy reception for Republic Day on October 29, guests watched President Erdoğan's video message and a folk dance performance was held.
Türkiye's Embassy in Ashgabat hosted a reception in the capital of Turkmenistan to mark Republic Day on October 29. The embassy released footage from the reception in Turkish and Turkmen.
The footage showed a sign reading "October 29 Republic Day Reception" in an outdoor area decorated with Turkish and Turkmen flags. Guests were welcomed at the entrance as they arrived for the reception.
Erdoğan's message shown on a giant screen
During the program, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's Republic Day message was shown to guests on a giant screen with English subtitles. Speeches were also delivered from the podium.
Dancers in red costumes performed folk dances by the pool. Guests were served döner and various dishes accompanied by live music.
