TEKNOFEST hosts panel on technology and modernization in southeastern Türkiye
On the second day of TEKNOFEST’s event at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport, Ferudun Yılmaz said a panel titled “How do modern people experience?” examined the sources of anxiety and hope in the modern world through the concept of experience.
The Aviation, Space and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST, organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation, is continuing at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport.
On the second day of the event, the Agricultural Technologies Cluster Foundation organized a panel titled “How do modern people experience?”
Ferudun Yılmaz said the concept of experience was at the center of the panel, adding that people living in the modern world were evaluating the sources of anxiety and hope associated with modernity.
Yılmaz described TEKNOFEST as one of the turning points in Türkiye’s 250- to 300-year modernization story. He said the festival was not only significant for certain age groups or young people, but also a sign that a threshold was being crossed in Türkiye’s modernization process toward the future.
