The launch event held at the Herodotus Cultural Center in Bodrum, Muğla, attracted great interest from young people. Around 3,000 middle school students from all over Bodrum filled the hall. The large-scale event, attended by people from all segments of society, brought an enthusiasm not seen in the region for a long time.
This year's project, carried out under the motto 'Let Our Summer School Be Colorful,' was launched in Bodrum with the participation of Muğla Governor İdris Akbıyık, TÜGVA General President İbrahim Beşinci, and many other guests. Speaking at the event, TÜGVA General President İbrahim Beşinci said, 'We are excited and happy to hold this program with our youth in Bodrum.
We plan to host about 6,000 young people in our summer schools across Muğla. At this point, we will jointly organize a wide range of activities. We will play sports, read books, participate in competitions, and accomplish many activities together. Most importantly, we will deeply feel the spirit of brotherhood.
Therefore, I wish that the launch we are holding here today will be beneficial and blessed for all of Muğla,' he added. Under the guidance of expert instructors, students participating in the Summer School across Turkey will have the opportunity to both have fun and develop themselves.
The project includes values education covering the Quran, Elifba, the life of the Prophet, and basic religious knowledge; sports activities such as football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, traditional archery, and swimming; mind and intelligence games; handicrafts; quizzes; nature camps; and cultural and social activities like environmental trips.
