Thrace recorded $230.8 million in exports last month
Thrace recorded $230,824,580 in exports last month, with Tekirdağ accounting for most of the region's exports. Between January and August, the combined exports of Kırklareli, Edirne and Tekirdağ reached $1,727,395,730.

Thrace recorded total exports of $230,824,580 last month. Data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly showed that Tekirdağ ranked first in the region, with exports worth $212,342,680.
Edirne followed Tekirdağ with exports of $9,546,300, while Kırklareli recorded $8,935,600 in exports.
Iron and nonferrous metals led Tekirdağ's exports
Tekirdağ's largest export sector was iron and nonferrous metals, with exports worth $55,996,200. Electrical and electronics products, followed by chemicals and chemical products, ranked next.
Agricultural products led exports from Edirne and Kırklareli
Cereals, pulses, oilseeds and products led exports from Kırklareli and Edirne. Kırklareli's exports in this sector totaled $3,601,860, while Edirne's reached $3,345,680.
The United States was Tekirdağ's largest export market last month. Products worth $31,441,760 were shipped from Tekirdağ to the United States.
Bulgaria was Kırklareli's largest export market, with exports to the country totaling $1,272,710. Bosnia and Herzegovina ranked first among Edirne's export markets, with exports worth $2,403,730.
Exports exceeded $1.7 billion from January to August
The combined exports of Kırklareli, Edirne and Tekirdağ reached $1,727,395,730 between January and August.
