Turkish central bank revokes Vezne24's electronic money license
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) has revoked the operating license of Vezne24 Collection Systems and Payment Services Inc. as an electronic money institution.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) has revoked the operating license of Vezne24 Collection Systems and Payment Services Inc. as an electronic money institution.
The central bank’s decision on the matter was published in today’s issue of the Official Gazette.
With the decision, the operating license granted to Vezne24 on September 13, 2018, under Law No. 6493 on Payment and Securities Settlement Systems, Payment Services and Electronic Money Institutions, was cancelled in accordance with subparagraph (b) of the first paragraph of Article 16 of the same law.
