The Trade Ministry has signed a protocol with e-commerce platforms to strengthen access to digital markets for cooperatives whose members are predominantly women and that support women’s labor.
Hepsiburada, N11, PttAVM, Pazarama and Trendyol joined the protocol, which was prepared as part of the 2025–2029 Türkiye Cooperative Strategy and Action Plan.
Five years of support for women’s cooperatives
Under the protocol, women’s cooperatives will be able to register on the participating e-commerce platforms free of charge. The commission rate charged to cooperatives will be 0% for the first six months and 1% for the following 4.5 years.
Cooperative products will be featured in the platforms’ homepage banners, dedicated category sections and social media campaigns. Dedicated visibility areas labeled “Cooperative Products” will be created for cooperatives with products listed on the e-commerce platforms, and special campaign periods will be organized.
The support aims to facilitate women’s cooperatives’ entry into digital commerce channels, develop their sales and marketing capacities, and enable their products to reach wider consumer groups across Türkiye.
The cooperation is expected to accelerate the digital transformation of women’s cooperatives and increase their visibility and market share in the e-commerce ecosystem.
