Turkish military delivers 40 wheelchairs to veterans in Somalia
Türkiye’s Somalia Turkish Task Force Command delivered 40 wheelchairs to veterans and their families in need at the Somali Military Hospital as part of Veterans Day events on September 19.
Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defense said the Somalia Turkish Task Force Command delivered 40 wheelchairs to veterans and veterans’ families in need at the Somali Military Hospital as part of September 19 Veterans Day events.
Food aid was also provided to families in need, while balls, toys and clothing were distributed to children. The ministry said it continues to support people in need through civil-military cooperation activities.
The Somalia Turkish Task Force Command, based in the capital Mogadishu, is Türkiye’s military mission providing training support to the Somali army.
