Details of a draft plan for a "citizenship salary" have emerged. According to the Sabah newspaper, support is planned for 2.5 million households in the first phase. To qualify, household income would have to be below 23,552 lira.
The amount of assistance will be set on a graduated basis according to each household's needs. Rent, electricity, natural gas, heating fuel, food and child support could be provided, and retirees, the elderly and people in need of care will also be able to benefit from the system.
All support on a single card

Household incomes will be determined using data such as Social Security Institution (SGK) records, bank accounts and land registry records. A "citizenship salary card" bringing together all support for those in need is planned. Part of the payments could be withdrawn as cash, while food and cleaning products could be bought at a discount.
No official statement has yet been made on the regulation.
