Turkish Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu said an ultrasound device project launched last year through technology transfer has reached an important stage. He said the devices, from monitors and probes to software and hardware, will be produced with at least 71% local content at a production facility to be set up in Türkiye.
The minister said they reviewed AI-supported ultrasound systems and production processes under the partnership on site and held productive talks on domestic production capacity.

Memişoğlu said they would keep working, under a "Producing Health" vision, for a Türkiye that develops, produces and builds its own technology.
