Türkiye's Ambassador to Washington Önal urges Atlanta's Turkish-American community to unite
Türkiye's Ambassador to Washington Sedat Önal and Miami Consul General Ambassador Yeşim Kebapcıoğlu met with Turkish businesspeople, academics and students in Atlanta, the capital of Georgia.
Türkiye's Ambassador to Washington Sedat Önal and Miami Consul General Ambassador Yeşim Kebapcıoğlu met with Turkish businesspeople, academics and students living in Atlanta, the capital of the U.S. state of Georgia.
The embassy said Önal noted in his remarks that Turkish-American relations are going through a highly positive period thanks to high-level dialogue, institutional coordination and close regional cooperation.
Emphasizing that the Turkish community in the United States should act with unity and solidarity, Önal highlighted the importance of academics and businesspeople assuming greater responsibility in this regard. The embassy thanked the Turkish-American Chamber of Commerce of the South (TACCS), the Turkish-American Cultural Association of Georgia (TACAGA) and the American-Turkish Friendship Council (ATFC) for contributing to the organization of the gathering.
