Türkiye's Nantes Consulate General visits Pays de la Loire Prefect Laurent Hottiaux
Türkiye's Consulate General in Nantes paid a courtesy visit to Laurent Hottiaux, prefect of the Pays de la Loire region and the Loire-Atlantique department, at his office. The two sides exchanged views on various issues.
Türkiye's Consulate General in Nantes paid a courtesy visit to Laurent Hottiaux, prefect of the Pays de la Loire region and the Loire-Atlantique department, at his office. In a French-language statement, the consulate said the visit included an exchange of views on various issues.
The consulate thanked Prefect Hottiaux for his gracious reception and the productive meeting. The two sides also exchanged commemorative gifts during the visit.
The state's highest representative in the region
In France, the regional prefect serves as the central government's representative in the region. Hottiaux concurrently serves as prefect of both the Pays de la Loire region and the Loire-Atlantique department, which includes Nantes, the regional capital.
