OTS expands its objectives
The Organization of Turkic States was established on October 3, 2009, under the name Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States, with the aim of transforming the shared ties among the states of the Turkic world into cooperation in geopolitical, economic and security fields. The organization adopted the name Organization of Turkic States in 2021.

The OTS Vision of the Turkic World 2040 document aims to transform member states into a strong regional power integrated politically, economically, culturally and socially. Within this framework, it seeks to gradually ensure the free movement of commodities, capital, services, technology and human resources.
The organization's priorities also include transforming the Middle Corridor into a fast, secure and low-cost logistics route, making joint investments in renewable energy and smart grid technologies, and acting together during regional or global crises.
Middle Corridor supports cooperation
Joint efforts between Türkiye and Azerbaijan continue in the fields of defense, energy, transport, media and technology. The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line, which connects Asia and Europe, is one of the key elements of transport cooperation between the two countries.

Economic cooperation between Türkiye and Kazakhstan is developing particularly through the Middle Corridor. The two countries are also pursuing work in the fields of artificial intelligence, innovation, space activities and mining.
Relations with Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are deepening through the Middle Corridor and international transport routes, as well as through energy, mining, free zones, digital trade and mutual investments.
