Intensive diplomatic activity in New York for the UN General Assembly
New York is preparing to host world leaders for the 81st United Nations General Assembly. International security, ongoing wars, climate change, artificial intelligence and global governance are expected to be among the topics on the agenda during the General Assembly’s high-level meetings.
Türkevi is also an important hub for Türkiye’s diplomatic activities in New York. Located directly across from the United Nations Headquarters, Türkevi hosted numerous bilateral meetings by President Erdoğan during his visits for the UN General Assembly in previous years.
