Two Injured in Knife and Cleaver Fight in Yalova
A dispute in Yalova's Süleymanbey neighborhood escalated into a violent fight involving knives and cleavers, resulting in injuries. Among those detained after the incident is K.
A fight that broke out on Doğan Street in Yalova's Süleymanbey neighborhood quickly escalated into a violent attack involving knives and cleavers. H. C. and E. T. were injured in the incident and both were taken by ambulance to Yalova Training and Research Hospital.
According to initial findings, 45-year-old K. E. Ç. is reported to have psychological issues, and there was a prior feud between the parties. It was reported that K. E. Ç. stabbed H. C. and E. T., who were trying to break up the fight during an argument with the butchers operating across from his house.
After the fight, K. E. Ç. returned home, but the dispute continued between him and the butcher and his employees on the opposite side. During this time, an attack with knives and cleavers was carried out on K. E. Ç.'s first-floor home, with one knife lodged into the building.
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene following the report. The police subdued K. E. Ç. using pepper spray.
In connection with the incident, K. E. Ç. and suspects O. Y., E. Ç., and M. Ç. were taken into custody. It was learned that the injured do not have life-threatening conditions.
The incident revealed how a feud in the neighborhood escalated into a knife and cleaver attack in the middle of the street. The investigation is ongoing, and procedures regarding the detained individuals continue.
