In his speech at the 5th Turkish Maritime Summit Awards Ceremony, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu highlighted the agreements signed and the new cooperation processes initiated during the summit.
Noting that they held the maritime summit together with the 100th anniversary of Cabotage Day, Uraloğlu touched on the consultations held with sector representatives throughout the day.
The minister said, 'We held extensive consultations on what we can do in terms of connectivity, intermodal transport, and how we can develop our regional and global cooperation.'
Explaining that these consultations yielded concrete results, Uraloğlu said, 'We brought our businesspeople together, signed some agreements, and also launched some agreement processes.'
Uraloğlu concluded his speech by saying, 'We are heading in the direction we intended. This meeting will have good outcomes. We will follow up together. With the support of our President and you, we will, God willing, further develop our country's transport systems and modes, both regionally and globally.'
