The first-round opponent of national tennis player Zeynep Sönmez at Wimbledon, the season's third grand slam tennis tournament held in London, the capital of England, has been determined.

Zeynep, ranked 54th in the world, has been drawn against 28th seed American Ann Li. Zeynep, who previously faced Li, ranked 29th in the world, twice at the Merida Open tennis tournament in Mexico, won both matches.

This season, the national tennis player reached the third round of the Australian Open in women's singles, but bid farewell to the French Open in the first round. The Wimbledon Tennis Tournament will take place between June 29 and July 12.
