Under the direction of the Erzurum Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a simultaneous operation was carried out in 16 provinces on July 27 as part of the Gülistan Doku investigation. 18 people were detained in the operation.

8 suspects, whose procedures at the gendarmerie were completed, were brought to the Erzurum Courthouse under tight security after undergoing health checks. After nearly 21 hours of interrogation by the prosecutor, one suspect was released. The prosecutor's office referred 7 suspects to the criminal court of peace, requesting the arrest of 6 and the release of 1 under judicial control.

During the operation, 19 suspects were processed, including a police director, a police superintendent, a chief inspector, an inspector, a chief constable, 10 police officers, a computer operator, and 3 retired police officers. While 18 of the suspects were taken into custody, it was stated that one person was being sought.
