72-Year-Old Woman in Çanakkale Killed by Partner with a Stick

In the village of Mollahasanlar, Bayramiç district of Çanakkale, an incident occurred involving 73-year-old Ramazan Cantürk and 72-year-old Maya Ülker, who had a dispute for an unknown reason. The argument quickly turned into a fight. According to allegations, Cantürk attacked Ülker with a wooden stick he took in his hand. Ülker collapsed to the ground bleeding from the blows she received. Upon notification by bystanders, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The health teams' examination determined that Ülker had died. Ramazan Cantürk was sent to the courthouse after procedures at the gendarmerie and was arrested by the court. The investigation into the incident continues.
