Google and Blackstone have made a significant entry from the finance sector into the artificial intelligence infrastructure race by founding a new artificial intelligence cloud company. This joint venture will offer data center capacity, operations, network communication, and tensor processing units within Google Cloud as a service. Thus, it will provide customers with an alternative channel to access Google technologies. Blackstone allocated an initial capital of 5 billion dollars for the joint venture, and it is planned to activate 500 megawatts of electrical energy capacity by 2027. The company holds significant shares in North America's major data center operator QTS and AI-focused firms. Google is strengthening its infrastructure by making agreements with many companies in chip technologies. This partnership aims to increase supply capacity in the cloud computing market to meet corporate demand and improve efficiency by sharing infrastructure costs among technology giants. Additionally, it affects the competition among cloud providers like Google and Amazon. Amazon continues its growth by leasing its own designed Trainium chips. Such partnerships among global finance and technology companies are reshaping the supply and demand balance in artificial intelligence processing power.
