ASELSAN, one of the leading companies in Türkiye’s defense industry, has signed a new export contract. According to its filing with the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the company signed a sales contract worth a total of $125 million for the export of weapon and electronic warfare systems to an end user abroad.

A run of new contracts

ASELSAN recently also signed a $195 million radar systems contract with Türkiye’s Defense Industry Agency (SSB). In recent years the company has been expanding its presence in export markets alongside domestic projects.
Electronic warfare systems are designed to detect, jam and neutralize an adversary’s radar and communication systems. ASELSAN’s weapon systems portfolio includes remote-controlled weapon stations used on land, naval and air platforms.
