Aston Villa ask Fenerbahçe about Oğuz Aydın’s terms
Premier League side Aston Villa have asked Fenerbahçe officials about the terms for Oğuz Aydın, according to Turkish journalist Sercan Hamzaoğlu. The claim emerged after the two clubs met in the Champions League.
Aston Villa have added Fenerbahçe’s Türkiye international Oğuz Aydın to their transfer list, according to journalist Sercan Hamzaoğlu, who reported that the English club asked Fenerbahçe officials about the 25-year-old winger’s terms. Neither club has commented officially.
The report came after Fenerbahçe lost 6-0 to Aston Villa at Villa Park in the UEFA Champions League.
Interest from across Europe
Aydın joined Fenerbahçe from Alanyaspor in summer 2024 for a fee of about 6 million euros and is under contract until 2028. Turkish daily Fanatik has previously reported interest from Rangers, Feyenoord, Hamburg and Espanyol, while Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş tried to sign him in the summer.
