Authorities arrest Iraqi national wanted on an Interpol Red Notice in Kırşehir
An Iraqi national identified as F. was the subject of proceedings by Iraqi judicial authorities for a terrorism offense and was wanted by Interpol under a Red Notice. After questioning by police in Kırşehir, the suspect was handed over to the relevant authorities for extradition to Iraq.
An Iraqi national identified as F. H. A. A., who was wanted by Interpol under a Red Notice, was arrested in an operation in Kırşehir.
The Counterterrorism and Intelligence branches of the Kırşehir Provincial Police Department conducted an operation to apprehend individuals wanted internationally. A technical and physical surveillance operation determined that F. H. A. A., against whom Iraqi judicial authorities had initiated proceedings for a terrorism offense, was in Kırşehir.
The suspect was arrested in an operation at the address where he was hiding. After police procedures were completed, he was handed over to the relevant authorities for extradition to Iraq.
