YETEV's education and cultural initiatives
YETEV Board of Trustees Chairman Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan said YETEV was established under the New Türkiye Education Foundation through the объединение of İrfan, Palet and Yenidoğu schools. Erdoğan noted that, alongside the foundation's original practices in education, it aims to enrich cultural content for children.
Erdoğan said YETEV had organized its Children's Song Composition Contest twice and held a Children's Instrument-Making Contest, adding that the story contest was also organized with an approach focused on rewriting works for children.
Erdoğan said YETEV sought to provide scholarship support to successful students and students in need both in Türkiye and abroad, and that such activities would continue. He also said that the YETEV Turkish Music Primary School was in its ninth year and that the institution continued its educational activities with more than 500 teachers.
Erdoğan said they also supported students at Kandıralı Mustafa Fine Arts High School in Kasımpaşa and sought to help young people with musical talent continue their education.
Students perform at ceremony
FSMVÜ Rector Şimşek said children's literature was an important part not only of literature but also of education, language, culture and family life. Students from the Professor Alaeddin Yavaşça Music Ensemble performed at the ceremony.
The program ended with a group photograph after the awards were presented.
