Başkentray, Marmaray, and İZBAN Will Be Free on July 15
According to the decision published with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's signature, services on Başkentray, Marmaray, İZBAN, the Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line, and the Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Arnavutköy Metro Line will be free on July 15, the Day of National Unity. Additionally, the Halkalı-Arnavutköy Metro Line will provide free service until July 31, 2026, on the occasion of its opening.
According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, public transportation will be free on many rail system lines on Tuesday, July 15, due to the July 15 Day of National Unity.
Under the decision signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, no fare will be charged for services on Başkentray, Marmaray, İZBAN, the Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line, and the Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Arnavutköy Metro Line.
Moreover, the Halkalı-Arnavutköy Metro Line will provide free service until July 31, 2026, on the occasion of its opening.
