The Kings County Supreme Court in New York State ruled that Brooklyn Amity School must repay its loan with interest.
According to shared information, the school had taken a $15.5 million loan from Bank Asya in 2011. After Bank Asya was transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) in 2015, a lawsuit was filed against the school for the loan receivables.
The case heard in the US concluded with the school being ordered to pay the debt.
The connection of Brooklyn Amity School to FETÖ was noted as a significant aspect of the outcome.
