Deadline for second installment of MTV and income tax is tomorrow
The deadline for the second installments of motor vehicle tax (MTV) and income tax expires tomorrow. Taxpayers can make their payments via the Digital Tax Office, banks, PTT branches, and tax offices.
The deadline for the second installment payments of motor vehicle tax (MTV) and income tax expires tomorrow. The Revenue Administration (GİB) reminded that the final payment date for the second installments of the 2026 MTV and the income tax on 2025 earnings is tomorrow.
Taxpayers can pay their installments through the following channels:
- Digital Tax Office and GİB Mobile Application
- Credit card, debit card, or account at contracted banks
- Cards of banks operating in foreign countries
- PTT branches
- Tax offices
For MTV payments, transactions can be made via the Digital Tax Office without a password by entering either the license plate, Turkish ID number, or the date of the registration or ownership document.
GİB stressed that to avoid any problems with online payments, the address "gib.gov.tr" or the official websites of banks should be typed directly into the browser.
