Elderly Couple Found Dead at Home in Adana, Autopsy Pending
In Yumurtalık district of Adana, Hasan and Gülsüm Girtten, who could not be reached by their relatives, were found motionless in their home. Health and police teams confirmed the couple had died, and the exact cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.
In the Yumurtalık district of Adana, an elderly couple who had not been reachable by phone for some time were found dead in their home. It was reported that Hasan Girtten, found in the house in Dervişiye Neighborhood, was 72 years old, and his wife Gülsüm Girtten was 70.
When their relatives could not contact the couple by mobile phone, they became concerned. Neighbors then went to their home and found the couple motionless in a room.
Health and police teams dispatched
Following the notification, health and police teams were sent to the address. Upon inspection, it was confirmed that Hasan and Gülsüm Girtten had passed away.
After the examination, the couple's bodies were taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. It was stated that the exact cause of death will be clarified after the autopsy.
Investigation launched
An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident. Details about the couple's death are expected to emerge after the forensic examination is completed.
