A fee dispute between Çağdaş Erdoğan, who serves as Deputy Consul at the Turkish Consulate General in Los Angeles, and U2U Law P. C., which provided him with legal assistance, was allegedly taken to a federal court in the United States.
The lawsuit alleges that Erdoğan was involved in a traffic accident in Beverly Hills on June 30, 2026, and that the law firm obtained a $40,846 offer from the insurance company for the vehicle damage.
The filing alleges that, shortly after receiving the offer, Erdoğan stopped working with the law firm and said he would handle the case himself. U2U Law P. C. filed a breach-of-contract and debt-collection lawsuit, arguing that $18,530 in fees and expenses remained unpaid.
Attorney Ahmet Yavuz Uşaklıoğlu also alleged that Erdoğan had him pressured through another attorney whom Erdoğan claimed was connected to the "Armenian lobby."
