Fuat Oktay, chair of the Grand National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs Committee, and accompanying committee members met representatives of the Turkish community in Germany at an event held at Türkiye’s Embassy in Berlin during their visit to Germany. The embassy announced that the delegation had met with citizens and representatives of civil society organizations as part of its visit, which began on November 1.
The embassy said the meeting was held in a question-and-answer format. The participants’ views and requests were heard, and opinions were exchanged on the issues on their agenda.

Photographs released by the embassy show Oktay seated with committee members at a podium table featuring Turkish flags and a portrait of Atatürk. The panel behind the table displayed the embassy’s name in Turkish and German.
Guests filling the spacious meeting hall listened to the delegation’s remarks in rows. One photograph shows participants applauding the delegation.
