The reconstruction fund established for Gaza and supported by Donald Trump did not receive a single dollar from donors. The official fund remaining with a zero balance after four months showed a serious blockage in the financing aspect of the plan. The fund was created under the management of the World Bank, and a total support commitment of 17 billion dollars had been announced earlier. However, according to the information conveyed, none of this money was deposited into the account. Of the commitments, 7 billion dollars were highlighted as an aid package for Gaza, and 10 billion dollars as a US-sourced financing promise. However, it was reported that donations were directed through another account instead of the World Bank mechanism. This process also brought transparency and audit discussions. It was stated that the structure conducted through a private account did not have independent disclosure rules. On the other hand, Morocco's 20 million dollar contribution was reported to have been used for the office expenses of the structure and the salaries of the technocrat committee established for transitional management. It was noted that the 100 million dollar fund allocated by the United Arab Emirates for new police force training has not yet been used. The US planned to direct approximately 1.2 billion dollars in aid spending to projects related to this agenda, but it was noted that this money has not yet been spent. Although the tender process for projects has started, it was reported that no contracts have been awarded so far.
