Locally made 21-carat gold was priced between 880,000 and 890,000 dinars in jewelry stores. Thus, a downward trend was observed in both wholesale and retail markets in the capital.
Prices also fell in Erbil. In the city, 22-carat gold sold for 953,000 dinars, 21-carat gold for 910,000 dinars, and 18-carat gold for 780,000 dinars.
